Where (world wide) was this picture taken. I mean, do you know what kind of moth it is or where it's native to?

absolutely gorgeous photo! it's not a spurge, or a green sphinx, it's actually a Oleander Hawkmoth. just in case anyone was wondering. stunning!

How do you tell the difference? I just about choked when I saw this because I thought it was my favorite moth, Eumorpha Pandorus. I compared pictures of this one against a Pandorus and an Oleander Hawkmoth, and to be honest.. I'm rather puzzled.

Wow.... what a pretty moth...
Lets just add this species of moths to the list of ones fluffy wants but will probably never have shall we? D'8
Seriously, im tempted to like learn how to professionally take care of moths and butterflys, and then go move to a large city with a large moth collection. Very tempted.

One thousand percent camouflaged, but yet choosing to stay in the most abstract by nature... For the life of me I could never understand why moths would choose such spontaneous places to be unsafe when safe places are so much... well... safer...
