This is why I don't like to use anyone's bases at all. Well, traced anime is not art and recoloring is not art either. There are some underaged kids and bad artists around DeviantArt, they can be in rabid fandoms like MLP, FNAF, Sonic, Undertale, etc, and they commonly use bases, tracing, recolouring, and they don't make sense at all. I don't mind fave and run, but some people think it is a sin.

People that like yaoi can like yaoi if they want, and if you look at a photo yet don't copy it as you draw but do it by hand then it IS referencing. GOD.

Well, tracing does help you learn technique. But the only bases I use are for adoptables, and I'm starting to make my own bases now.

I got blocked for having an opinion once. And it wasn't even a new account it was like a popular/well known account. I was really mad. I didn't even snap I said something *from what I recall* like "Well it's not very well worded to me...to be honest." And they are like. "Yes it did, blah blah blah!" and blocked me.

And here's some more lovely dA logic: In order to become a proper "deviant", you MUST hate all other people other than yourself because "they don't understand how hard your life is" and (one of the ones that I personally hate the most) you have to be the most "INSEEEIN N KREEEEISI" person on dA to be exciting and funny, but WATCH OUT! There're many others, who want to claim the title as "deviantART's craziest person", so show them who's the boss! These might be related to the one about others' opinions, but these seem to be a goddamn fad around this site.
