You've seen them everywhere. Little kids who think they're big and badass because they take ED at face-value and not as any sort of satire, and proceed to spout everything it says back out.There's more to trolling than ED. I quite enjoy a browse or two of ED (after doing some routine virus blocker checkups), but if you take it completely seriously and can't troll beyond vomitting up what's said there, failtroll is fail.

The trolling community goes beyond that since there are sub-chans among chan-groups dedicated to the subject and even other sites like kiwifarms, combustingherpes and wrongplanet,Β and then there's commentary.

I came across a particular page on ED which I don't remember that started with a few cute pictures, then suddenly puts... what was that...? Oh right, grotesque pictures, some of which are outright porn. Near the end of said page, a link directs the browser to a virus. Thank Avast that my computer hasn't been infected.
Can't say I'm able to take the internet seriously anymore.

It wasn't even intended to be. (Just take a look when they're not being dead serious-- their satirical view on furries in the articles, vs. the "yeah furries are okay as long as they're not insane and yiff-tastic" in the, dare I say, out-of-character notes).
But no, it's all "E.D. IS THE GOSPEL AND EVERYTHING IS 100% TRUU".
(I think that ED is, in fact, trolling the kids that do that. :V)

Aye. Even when they make articles targeting specific individuals, they're still clearly not 100% honest/serious in spite of screencaps etc. They still throw in a lot of hyperboles and so forth. Well, except in some cases (i.e., failtroll wants revenge and makes a butthurt article about someone, making an earnest attempt to convince everyone it's all true).

For serious. I mean I like 90% of the intarwebz probably heard of certain man-friends via ED, but it was like "I HAVE SEEN THIS NAME AND SUCH BEFORE. ... cool -talktalktalk MAN FRIEND-".
Of course. And honestly, sometimes it can be pretty hilarious when the person is being a monumental ass (there are some people who thoroughly deserve their pages, and almost every one of their pages not targeting a specific person but rather a concept is hilarious). Otherwise it's sort of a "TRY HARDER WHY DON'T YOU :V".
