Description
Here is a fanart of all the Pokemon Water Starters (including my own made-up starter). ^^ I did this fanart before the new Pokemon Black & White games were announced, so I wasn't able to include the 5th generation water starter.

From left to right: Mudkip, Squirtle, Aquish, Totodile, and Piplup.

Here is the Pokedex entry for my made-up starter:
Aquish (Aqua + Fish)
Type: Water
Stats: High defense, High special defense, Low speed
Pokedex Entry: It loves to swim along side boats. It has an innate curiosity about humans and will often aid in maritime rescue.
Artist Comments: I really wanted to make a dolphin Pokemon (especially since there aren't any yet). I have to admit that Aquish is a little boring in terms of character design, but I had actually drawn its final stage first (I eventually want to get that up). Nonetheless, it's definitely original, and I'm 100% proud of that. ^^
