Hector: Go home, Achilles! The Greeks will never penetrate these walls, and your blade will not kill me!

Achilles: I care not about the conquest of Troy, but your death will ensure that my name will be remembered for many years to come!

Well, this fight was DESTINED to be one-sided for sure.

Hector, skilled as he was, was only human and mortal while Achilles was a demigod with the powers of River Styx that juiced up almost his whole body to be invulnerable(save his heels, of course). It may not have shown that much in the movie but they were not on even grounds. Achilles was basically a warrior on trainers & cheat codes mark-ups in addition to his core skills. When you go one-on-one against an opponent who's under the effect of invulnerability or infinite health you know you're gonna lose.

If you want to be pernickety about it, in the original myth Achilles wasn't invulnerable, he was just such an absurdly good warrior it appeared so, and then that got misinterpreted later.

Very nice! It's really something to think a war can be won with a duel or that a king will grovel for his son corpse.

First thing I thought of was the movie, which is sad to me... they should have _at least_ mentioned Cassandra once, but no, not a single time and she was no where to be found... as though she wasn't at all important to the story. My name is Cassandra and that's actually how I got into Greek mythology to begin with.
This picture is awesome though.

Well, whatever it is, he should clean up this city here...
because this city is like an open sewer, it's full of filth and scum.
Sometimes I can hardly take it.
Whoever becomes the president should just...
really clean it up, know what I mean?
Sometimes I go out and I smell it. I get headaches, it's so bad.
It's like-- They never go away.
It's like the president should clean up this whole mess here.
He should flush it down the fucking toilet.
