My first moon pic
....was it a wish
was it a dream
or so cool
peaceful serene
pull in the ranes
fall back in a chair
take in,
........that cool summers air
feel the knots, gathered in head
drain away, before your bed
what could be better
than to drift to sleep
with memories of your friends far away
all seeing the same
beauty you behold
shared forever
wish forever, rest of day

Great shot Kirsten! I found that also adjusting the presets on the white balance will gain a lot of detail. Wonderful job on this one. Oh BTW with a tripod and a long exposure you'll find some colors you wont believe.

Very nice, little hard to get the shutter/iso just right on moon shots. I know this because I only just got my 75-300mm lense last week. It's really hard to get used to!

Yer, enjoying it heaps. Went camping on the weekend, just got back 5 minutes ago.
Was using it for 60% of the time. Had a go on my brother's new 28-135 EF IS USM lens too. Was awesome fun.

I used a 70-300mm lens on macro mode...tripod of course and played with the shutter, ISO, and aperture speeds till I got this one

found out...I'm allergic to the stuff. Horribly! Stuffy nose, sneezing, headache. Felt like I was going to suffocate. I'll carry my own net thanks!
