The coloring on this is absolutely astonishing. Who did the line work though so we could tell them what a great job they did as well

Everything looks so real, like it is a photograph. My coloring always seems to cartoony. Well I guess so is my drawing style though.

I started to use reference when coloring and that really helps. Photographs capture natural lighting, backlighting, midtones, highlights, reflected light, ambient light, etc. Super helpful. Regardless of if your style is cartoony or not (mine certainly is) looking at real life will always, always benefit you.

Very cool and as others have said just beautiful shadows and light. The darkness and underlighting suggest the dark forces that Chris expends his manly might against. You're a tease to only reveal part of such an excellent piece, but what is here stands pretty well on its own. Thanks!
