i've been collaborating with mdb and i did few bosses for MF selection. www.metroid-database.com/besti…A chozo statue corrupted by this strange vegetation.
Hello there i know there's a hype over metroid prime again.. As a long contributer to a Metroid art community i ask even beg you to support my original art by at least seeing it.
It is the only way that i can promote my real art, not fan art. As Andorid Jones i lost almost every income rn, and please don't be angry with me i need attention to my real art.

All this time and I never noticed it looked like a Chozo Statue. I always thought it just resembled a big mutant plant root.

I don't really knoow, but for me this boss really looks like a Chozo or Torizo statue controlled by that kind of vine/fungus which the X have taken the form of.

yeah first i was really shocked when i notify it's existence because i am fan of metroid universe from good old 1997 when i first get my hands on Super Metroid. So i was really thrilled when discover it, after long years i never played metroid game since 97 and then found it, and be able to play it on pc, sweet memories.

but not all metroid's are dark some of them trully light and peaceful by it's underneath meaning, like energy, peace with nature and all kinds of buddhism themes

as for myself i misunderstand the strategy of this boss and i always get into the poisonous water and also i like the music of this boss kinda reminds me of an spore spawn

Personally, I thought the battle was more like Motherbrain in Zero Mission, the way you have little ground to stand on with pits of acid in-between, and how it doesn't attack directly at first but uses these "turrets" on the ceiling instead, and it only starts shooting at you at the second phase.
