I agree. Unfortunately if happens more often than people realize. We have a basset hound at the shelter right now that had been shot in the back. Fortunately he is doing quite well but he was also very malnourished so it will be a while yet before he is available for adoption. I'm sure we will find him a great home when he is ready.

It's so cute! When me, my mom, my friend, my nannie, and my sister went to see Hotel for Dogs, we found out that if someone would buy a ticket to see the movie, they'd be donating to a cause to help raise money to get food and shelter for puppies! That's so nice!
