Thanks. This was taken on Jekyll Island, GA. There are often quite a few sand dollars along the beach especially if there has been strong winds and waves.

Once beached, they brake very easily. If I find them and they look like they are still alive, I try to get them back in the water,

You find quite a few on the Jeykll Island beaches especially after a strong surf. The really have amazing detail.

They really do look amazing! We don't get those in this part of the world.....or if we do...I've never come across them

I agree and the camera seems to pick up details that you do not always see with the naked eye.
