You must choose between beautiful flowers on the pond, or beautiful fish in the pond!

I love them also. Unfortunately my two koi have eaten the whole plant and I'm sure they are eating every new leaf that sprouts. I will have to wait until next spring to see them again. Thanks so much for the

As soon as the water warmed up enough for them to be extra hungry they started nibbling away!

Thanks so much. Unfortunately my Koi thought it made better food than shade so until their appetite subsides, I will have to live without it.

Well they did this year. They are growing a lot and will probably slow down eating when they have reached the size that is right for the pond. Maybe then they will be happy with just having fish food.

Thanks. I guess I have been fortunate with this plant. I bought it years ago and moved it from one pond to another. Also gave away a lot of the bulbs it produced.

Thanks so much for the . I enjoy the water lilies so much. Wish they weren't so invasive so I could have more than one in the pond.

You're very welcome! Your gallery is also very lovely. I also enjoy these lilies & I also agree with you, they are pretty evasive; yet I guess that's their charming nature & why we enjoy them so much!

Well all of a sudden the lily is shrinking. Last fall I bought two small koi and they are growing so fast I swear I could watch them get bigger. The last couple of days I'm noticing bite marks on all my leaves. They do not bother with the flowers however so that is good.

Guppies are a better choice, my mom has a bed of lilies in a small pond & these fishes have bee very kind to its leaves! You should concider it! I wish you the best of luckwith your lovely lilies!

Unfortunately my pond is full of fish already. I have about 18 goldfish and 2 koi. The goldfish never bothered the leaves in the past so I know it is the koi gobbling them up.

Ouch! Well you could transfer the koi to another pond so the lilie plant stays safe? Let's hope they arent messing with its roots. I wish you the best of luck with that situation it seems a little difficult.

I quess koi are notorious for this once the water temperature gets up into the 80s. They can't get to the roots as they are buried under the stones so I'l sure it will come back again once the pond temperature drops. In the meantime, I've increased the amount of food I'm giving them. The good news is they are also keeping the pond algae free.

Those are good news, I suggest that if said method is working then you should keep it up rigorously! The best of luck with your lovely lilies!

Thanks! Are you still having that fundraiser? I probably should order the print you want before the print policy changes because I'm not sure I will subscribe to the premier print program. Also let me know where you want to have it mailed.

Don't forget to note me with the address where you want it sent. Do you want one of a shelter pet or something more marketable. I put the butterfly print in our raffle and it was very popular.
