This is beautiful! I'm from tahoe and seeing pictures like these make me wonder why I ever leave. Was this taken on the North Shore? I know I've seen that dock house somewhere...

I can't tell you much more than that and the fact that I was in Tahoe City (hope I have that right) and it was this past June, 06. Again, thanks.

Well...I'm guessing that the Washington that is your home (and was mine for decades) is the beautiful one in the Pacific Northwest. So you probably don't need to fly to Reno and drive to Lake Tahoe to see scenes like this one. I remember the highway (is it #20) that runs east through the northern Cascades as one of the most fabulous places for landscapes and water scapes in the world. Take good care of the place 'til I get back.

We still own some acres in the Walla Walla Valley, which I also like a lot. Perhaps we'll end up there. Meanwhile, we are sojourning in an overpopulated desert!
