Is that your cold beverage on the table there?

Oh, Bill...you weren't supposed to notice! (In truth, it must have belonged to some other more Germanic type. I enjoyed the warmth inside that mountain place. I'd been hiking through snow for hours by that time, and with rather poor outfitting for such an adventure. How are you? And yours?

We are going on holiday to Montana this weekend. Taking the train there and back and meeting up with friends to hike/backpack. Hopefully we'll see some enchanting landscapes. I'm just trying to figure out how to shave more stuff so I can comfortably take the Pentax!! I've posted a bunch more images on Picasa. I'll email you the links (hmm, should probably add our uber boss too). I think some of them will be used for various program promotions...

You guessed it perfectly. And what a great place to get some hot soup and some bread! I'll admit that I love you part of the world. I first hiked above First in 1974. And thanks for looking.

Hey Ricardo, I'll go check your gallery. Lucky you to live in such a beautiful, enchanting place. I could hike for many weeks out of Grindelwald and never be bored. I was surprised at how cold and snowy it was at the higher altitudes when I was there in June.

Ah, so this was where the von Trapp family fled for six years as World War II was coming to an end and the Nazis were after Captain von Trapp to become a Nazi... *dreamy look* I love The Sound of Music, as you can tell. Lovely capture! I love how the clouds seem slightly, slightly blurred and the chairs are focused upon. They make me want to relax! ^^

I was surely pleased to find this place after getting through a snow shower and hip deep snow drifts in some places. One bowl of hearty soup and some bread put me back in shape for the rest of the day.

Wow. I love this. I love how the red from the flag is echoed in the table cloths, and how those elements work as a frame for the mountains. Really well composed.

I go back whenever I can to hike in this part of the world. It never disappoints, even when the weather is drippy, as it was this time.
