A view of this tree in Belvoir Forest Park, Belfast, on a bright autumn day in 2010. The change in colour of the leaves is well under way.

The trunk and branches of the tree are rather dark, due to recent rain, which gives a strange effect of the undersides being brighter than the the opposite which you would expect. However, I like the contrast between the dark wood and the bright foliage.
