Although I have a sign on my page that says "Please do not ask for points," it's Christmastime, and I want to help be in the giving mood.
I do want to save my points since I'm a student who has no job, but once I'm employed, I'll probably remove the sign, but for right now, would 10 points sound good for now?

Yeah. I'm a big Titanic buff. In fact, I know that this coming April 14-15 will be the 100th anniversary of her sinking.

Forgot the N in TITANIC, but I'll tell you. The movie's craze eventually got me into it, and that's how I got into disasters. Throughout 1997, TITANIC was like the only word I kept hearing, and I knew nothing about her, not even that she sank. All I knew was that she was an ocean liner.

she sailed mail but she crashed into that dreadful iceberg
but her sister the olimpic was used for raming into army ships cause they was in war that time.

The Olympic wasn't used for ramming into ships during WWI. She was used as a troopship, but she ended up ramming and sinking a German U-Boat one time which just so happened to be out to sink her. Because of that fortunate event, the Olympic earned the nickname "Old Reliable." It was the only time in WWI that a merchant ship sank a submarine if I'm right. There were at least two other collisions the Olympic was involved in during her lifetime, one before the war (in fact it was her 1911 maiden voyage when the British Crusier HMS Hawke collided with her), and one after the war (she accidentally sank the Nantucket Lightship in 1934, the year before she was scrapped).
The Titanic and Olympic had a third sister ship who was not so lucky. Have you heard of the Britannic at all? I'll tell you about her if you're interested.
BTW, in order to properly write the ship's names, you have to italicize them, but for this you don't have to, but that's they're written in books.

This is really interesting Will, I never knew there's a contest on ourselves. I should try to make one of my own some time.

No problem. But I was thinking, how many things (interests of mine) and my favorite characters I can add onto my sketch?

cruiseshipz In reply to germanname1990 [2011-01-04 05:52:08 +0000 UTC]
Okay, but I may not have time to put it on color for the contest. But you sure it's alright if I leave it out black & white for the contest so I can save some time on adding the color to it?
Wow, the wheel looks crazy as far as the colors and the crazy text on there!

I'm sure Sarah would be okay with it.
And I'm glad you like the wheel. Do a couple light blue wedges look familiar at all?

cruiseshipz In reply to germanname1990 [2011-01-04 06:16:24 +0000 UTC]
Okay cool, thanks for letting me know, I'm already half finished with it.
At first I didn't think they look familiar, they reminded me of just Easter colors on a wedges. The second time I look at the wedges, I noticed the numbers that represented the blue diesels from The Railway Series.
