The blood was actually not realistic to the story since pilum gets his scars very early on when she is still a teen. And yes Pilum has a romance with a young teen when he's a young adult. The ages are six months and 2 and a half years is it sick yes and no because he respects his young girlfriend at that age which makes her roughly 15 in human years and him about 22 or 23
