Venus ist das râmische Pendant zur griechischen Aphrodite, die bekannt ist als die Schaumgeborene (geboren aus abgetrennten Hoden Uranus, die ins Meer geworfen wurden) und aus den Fluten stieg, aber dann sollte sie mâglicherweise vâllig entblÀttert sein und nicht nur in der Uferzone sein ? xD Mit ein paar Gewichten (gegen den Auftrieb)ließe sich da ja vielleicht eine passende, mythologisch angehauchte Vorgeschichte herstellen...nur so ein Gedanke.

Venus was born of sea, but considering the lake to be "close enough", she is as if contemplating whether she'd better be back in the water where she came from instead of staying here among the mortals and mayhem they have caused.

I like also the composition. Those waterplants fill the void there would have been otherwise and there's lots of space in front of her to allow an idea of the surroundings and where she might be looking at..
