Interesting combination here. I assume this is one of those "infinity pools" I've read about? It does mix in quite nicely with the open water behind it either way. I'd say go for a long exposure too and you'd probably complete the illusion, even with the fence & diving board there - and I certainly wouldn't take those out, as they're really what make this shot

On another note, is it just me, or is the diving board just a little left of the center?

i think that's an optical illusion due to the length of the board to think it's to the left
