I instantly thought of Chris Tomlin's version of Amazing Grace when I saw this. Beautiful illustration, I love it.

I like it very much. But I think I'd like to see it with the blood actually breaking or eating the chains like acid - that where the blood is, the chains are not. I personally have a thing against sticking a Bible verse on a photo or sketch and calling it Christian art. You don't do that here - you are expressing a Christian image even without the verse. But I'd like to see you go even farther away from the overused Bible verse tactic and express her freedom solely through the image, without the aid of the verse.
That said, it's a beautiful image and well-done.

Thank you. That's a good idea with the blood eating the chains. The whole 'acid' thing is sketchy with me though. Something about Christ's blood being like acid doesn't sit well with me. lol. But I understand what you're saying. ^_^
Thanks so much. ^_^

For some odd reason, I like this raw image better than the finished polished work in your link. The blood stains, matched with a verse that has such a deep and powerful meaning, and the raw drawing with faded chains... it just makes this look so much more emotional and has a deeper impact. Because HIS blood is what helps up break away the chains of sin that bounds us, and by his blood we are free to run into Jesus loving arms of forgiveness...
