You know, this reminds me of some old movie (ten years ago) when these beings created this "Cityscape" for the humans they held captive and were studying. I think it was called Dark City or something like that.

Granted the CGI for making that movie wasn't all that great, but I can see them using something like this if they had made that movie today. I can just see the office buildings and sky scrapers "suddenly" erupting into existence like you have the structures in this picture doing.


Or maybe it's just my half asleep brain still trying to wake up.

I apologize if I don't make sense.
