Whahaha! Nice work! Still digging your rendering of the Glass Armor! And I swear, for Gwindor every day is one of those kinds of days. :/

Thanks!
Ah, but what I have planned for later will make this seem relaxing by comparison.

It that the Necromancer's Amulet? It's the only one that comes to mind with that colour.

I like Gwindor's fire/paralysis spell. I realize he could easily be using two spells at the same time, but when I see him doing it like that, I'm imagining it's a Shivering Isles-based combination spell: the fire from Dementia, and the Paralysis from Mania.
I'm guessing he tossed the paralyzed Thalmor out with him so that he could break the glass without cutting himself?

"Nobody touches Oghren's junk and LIVES!"
One of my favorite lines from that game, and I just about spewed my tea when I saw it.

I am thoroughly enjoying this series. Just the right kind of subdued humor that gets me every time. Keep up the great work!

"Oh right. You are to busy being paralyzed and on fire to speak."
I lost my shit at that line. Had to take a 20 minute laugh break. Paralyzing the guy was humiliating enough but did you have to completely degrade him with the fire too?

Ancarion: How did you escape?
Gwindor: With a skeever, a rope and a plank.
Ancarion: ....... What?
Gwindor: Just a little something I like to call, "creative badassery".

Damn, I missed a great chance to utterly baffle Ancarion!
Hopefully setting him on fire, paralyzing him and then throwing him out of window made up for that lapse...

I think you already baffled him with a little bit of creative badassery yourself. I mean, setting him on fire, then paralyze him and then throwing him out a window and use him as a skateboard on the way down? Dude, Robbaz's Besiege designs don't have ass on you.

Ancarion always seemed pretty squishy and shock-absorbing to me! Also, Gwindor should search for the spell-drinker amulet, rumored to have been held by the last arch-mage of the Mages Guild. That way, he could make sure to absorb even more of the magic flung his way. He should also keep his eyes out for things like Welkynd stones and the magicka fonts in the Deadlands of Oblivion. Whether or not his magicka regenerates (and if it does, is simply extremely slow), he would still have access to the occasional regeneration of his pool.

Problem here was Thalmor confiscated all his items (including magicka potions) and guards weren't as obliging as Ancarion with magic. In normal circumstances he could just ask Serana to cast spells on him to recharge quickly (that's one reason why he was so eager to recruit her).

Oh, I wasn't criticizing the narrative of this comic or anything. I was clumsily providing ideas for the future! I love these comics, by the way.

No problem, just clarifying in case I had been skipping ahead again (I'm sometimes too lazy to draw transition panels which would make story easier to follow).
I had been thinking about using Welkynd Stones actually, though for a super magicka consuming (more than his whole magicka pool) mega spell rather than restoring magicka. You could do those in Oblivion.

That'd be really cool! I also always wondered if soul gems could be consumed by people to restore their magicka or used for spells as well. It's never been mentioned, but given how enchanting seemed to work in Morrowind, it seemed like soul gems that recharged items were restoring the magicka of the souls bound to the enchanted items (or, in the case of Daedric items, the Daedra that took the form of the item). However, the Soul Cairn puts a rather different spin on the whole thing. Oh dear, I'm rambling again!
