Clan Ghost Bear took Tokasha from the Horses, and anyway by the time of the Clan Invasion everyone and their gene-mother had Novas.

Well yeah thanks to the wolves backstabbing. Altough i thought novas were a dying design with only spare parts being made by revival

Until ComStar learned about Earth and decimated clan galaxy after galaxy. Bear or not the comguards were hardcore enough to throw down and win

Only Clan that fared better on Tukayyid than Clan Ghost Bear was Clan Wolf, seeing as they actually achieved their objective rather than a draw (though after reading the Jade Phoenix Trilogy calling what the Jade Falcons managed a "draw" as well was awfully generous of IlKahn Ulfric Kerensky and Precentor Martial Anastasius Focht). Still, 4 out of 7 Clans absolutely defeated made it a Com Guard victory. This led Clan Ghost Bear to reconsider the Crusader philosophy and in turn become a Warden Clan, as well as give them the idea that they should just go ahead and use the 15 year "break" to move EVERYONE to the Inner Sphere. They might never have reached and taken Terra, but in a way they were the first Clan to actually complete their invasion.
Also I have a lot of respect for the Com Guard, they were pretty much the part of ComStar that did not drink the Kool Aid. I have two Battletech fanfics running on this site. One got introduced just so I could beat the living crap out of the RWBY villains ( ghostbear3067.deviantart.com/a… I believe you are familiar with those, though some of the characters were introduced in this short story ghostbear3067.deviantart.com/a… ) and I will continue fleshing out Phi Galaxy's story through pictures and short stories in the future. Before I do that I have to finish my fanfic novel "The Red Dragoons" ( ghostbear3067.deviantart.com/g… ), which has been giving me a bit of trouble. In both the lead/highest ranked characters have Con Guard training, and that was a deliberate choice not just because they are Terran born.

4 out of 7 the clans lost ha its more like 5 or 6. I think the Ghost Bears lost despite their ability to hold Spanac the Com Guard could have easily redeployed and laid down artillery fire to force them out of the city into any number of kill zones. As for the Jade Falcons they LOST and Ulric said it was a freaking draw just so he wouldn't have to accept that only his clan actually did accomplish their objectives. Mind you the only reason that they had really known anything about Comguard's plan was thanks to a convert named Phelan Kell. I mean Ulric and most of the clan leadership called Focht, an arm chair general over seeing an army of over stocked and incompetent body guards. The clans all scoffed at ComGuard and got butchered for it out right. The Ghost bears however I feel should have been the Ilclan them, Sea Fox or the Horses. I mean off all the Clans those three are probably the most adaptable to leading the Inner Sphere without genocide and a jack boot.

I still do not think Clan Ghost Bear lost on Tukayyid, though I agree the Jade Falcons were absolutely wrecked. I said 4 out of 7 Clans defeated because I decided to stick with official figures. I see absolutely no reason why IlKhan Ulfric Kerensky would declare a draw for any other Clans to keep from having only his Clan officially accomplish their objective, especially the Jade Falcons. He would more than likely have just loved to hold the fact that a Warden Khan had succeeded where the crusadingest Crusader Clan failed. Might even have given him more clout with the other Clans. Also, the Wolves were not really aware of the Com Guard's plans because of Phelan Kell, they were more aware of how an Inner Sphere army actually operates because of Phelan Kell but more importantly were willing to LISTEN and CHANGE THEIR METHODS ACCORDINGLY. The other Clans refused to adapt to the situation, many because they had no idea how.
Clan Ghost Bear has already started adapting to lead the Inner Sphere. They call it the Ghost Bear Dominion, later the Rasalhague Dominion, and it beat the DCMS I think at least twice and obliterated Word of Blake multiple times.

Yes the official numbers but frankly i feel that the authors are being a tad generous I mean what the hell Ulric was actually thinking giving the Jade Falcons a draw! The books and universe are just well a bit off and such with certain things, also Phelan was key to the wolves success I mean come on had he actually convinced the Wolves to alter their ways in the battle. I mean the Ghost Bears didn't lose out right like most but their halved victory and its cost are pretty damning.

I never argued the Phelan was not key to the Wolves victory, I clarified how because from the way read one of your replies it sounded like you were claiming Phelan was aware of or in possession of the Com Guard's actual battle plans and disclosed them to IlKhan Ulric so the Wolves could plan accordingly. If I misinterpreted what you said my apologies.

Well it is nice to see someone else willing to own up to their errors on the internet, that feels really rare these days.
