Description Feathered Couriers (Nexus)

A painting I completed back in June of 2011. I actually one first place in the junior acrylic painting animal category at the State Fair of Texas, BAM. The photo of this piece makes it look really dark on the right, buut it's not really. Here's an excerpt from the description I paired this with for college applications:
" Two roadrunners circle a patch of cactus on otherwise barren land. This piece captures the many faces of the area of Texas I live in. If one drives (or runs) five minutes in any direction, they are sure to meet an entirely new landscape. Some areas are sparsely populated, full of cacti and wildlife. Other areas are leaning toward urbanization, full of concrete and people where nature once ruled. The towers shown in the background are similar to those over my town. Returning from a road trip, I could always tell when home was near when the red lights of the radio towers became visible."

ugh

Also, critique is appreciated!

be careful of your symmetry... the earth on the right descends further down than the earth on the left. Kind of feels like your eyes are being dragged off the right side of the picture =/
