Description Just felt like it. Labrys was such an impressive character. I've never seen an artificial intelligence story done this well before.

I've been practicing a lot lately so I went for high detail on this one.

Yeah, I think she looks cooler without a uniform, though her uniform's color scheme doe match her pretty well.

Ayyy, there's the precious brooklyn accented robo girl. This is good as always. Glad you got into persona. It's a wonderful series. C:

Thanks! Her voice really is cute. Amazing that she also did Ken's voice. I'm glad I started watching it, since it's the kind of game I just wouldn't normally play. I'm too much of an action based gamer. But they know how to tell a good story.

They do! Atlus has alot of great games, especially in the Megami Tensei series. But it's understandable you watching rather than playing. Turn base games can get a little bit frusrating at times. (imlookingatyounocturne...)

And yes~ she has such a cute voice. Before I got into p4 I drew Labrys for a friend, and I wasnt expecting a voice like that to come out to be honest.. but it really is adorable ;v;

Which persona games have you watched so far?

Honestly, a lot of RPGs in general seem to have an issue with difficulty balance. 90% of the time they're just laughably easy, but when they try to make things 'challenging' they overboard by a factor of ten. They just make everything 1-hit-kill and give it 50X the HP. I've always wanted to find that one game that has the kind of story value that RPGs tend to have, but that really gets the action balanced just right the way many action games do. Sometimes it seems like I'm the only one interested in a game like that. That's why I wish I could make my own, but honestly that idea seems a bit too far out of reach. :/

I've watched through 3+Answer, 4(golden), Arena and about halfway through 5.

Yeah, I can see that. In some of Atlus' Other games, Like nocturne, they can be incredibly hard. I hope maybe there will be a game such as that ; ; I honestly think games have gotten way too easier to be honest. Like, Going from Nocturne, to Persona 5, it just felt like there was no challenge in it, tbh. Even in hard mode. But I suppose it's unfair to compair persona to smt.

Ahh, I see! I'm not sure if there is a lp of it out there, but I played a bit of persona 2, and I loved it a lot! To be honest though the game mechaics are extremely boring and such but i heard P2 is one of the best stories in the persona franchise. I defiantly would recommend it to you since you seem to be enjoying the series, and if you dont mind the very outdated graphics. It's kinda darker than some of the later games (basically on par with persona 3?)

Out of their ones youve seen so far, which is your favorite?

Yeah, there tend to be a lot of players okay with things being easy, and a lot of challenge seekers who are never satisfied, so games tend to focus on the easy gameplay and then kind of half-ass it when turning up the difficulty, leading to challenges that go from 'this is barely any different' to 'did they even play test this bulls***?'

Having finished watching 5 I have to say it's the biggest improvement yet. Persona is definitely a game that puts a lot of emphasis on each new game and takes its time to make each one feel like a noticeable upgrade in as many ways as possible. Games with higher output rates tend to mix and match mechanics and try out new ones rather than refine them, so progression isn't as steady.

(Phew.. My bad. unu I havent been too active on DA lately. Im sorry ofr such a latr reply)

But I agree! I wish people would like challenge once in a while, which is why i went into Nocturne and Persona Q! I mean Pq isnt so hard but it can still be a challenge! (If you fight the optional bosses that is. The regular bosses are pretty okay. But the puzzles in the game are admittedly more challenging that the game play to be honest.) But yeah. That really shouldnt be an excuse for developers to get lazy on their game play :/

And Oh yeah, P5 is defiantly a good improvement. Though It's a hella lot easier than the previous games, the game play defiantly is fun. Im so glad they brought back improved negotiations! The negotiations in P2 and in other SMT games are horrible, but can be pretty entertaining since it gives Shadows/Demons personality. And oh man... p5's UI.. back in 2015 when they started to show the menus and such, I freaked out of excitement.. it showed how much work they put into the game.

So.. I wont judge you, Im just really curious. Who is your best girl? C: (in Any of the games really.)

Well, I had to move, so I've been off for a couple of days too.

I just wish RPG devs in particular would start thinking of their action gameplay as being comparable to mainstream action games. They've got all the mechanics for it, they just need to get the hang of balance and enemy design.

Well, that's a simple enough question to answer except for Persona 4. In 3 I thought Yukari was the best, and in 5 Makoto, no question. In 4 though, it's different depending on whether you're asking me, or Yu Narukami. If it was me, I would pick Chie, but if I actually were Yu and not myself, it would have to be Rise since she's the only one who shows a lot of interest in him without any prodding.

And yet as far as the series as a whole is concerned, my favorite is still Labrys.

I see! They're all great girls. Yukari, I admit is kinda in my least favorite characters, but i admit, she's super cute. (It's mainly because of her in the Answer, im fine with her in the Journey & p4au.)

I gotta admit, Rise is very cute with Yu. I love her bubbly personality. And the personality they gave Yu, i feel is such a good counterpart for her. She's my secone favorite P4 girl <3

And It is hard to Surpass Laby <3 Funny. My best girl is her Sister, Aigis. C: It always seems like the Best girls in series in persona Are robots. 🤔

(Sorry for the late reply once again. Work + sick most of the time + drama in life = death)

Answer didn't really bother me. They definitely overdid it with some of the characterization during that part, but I don't really attribute that to the character when stuff like that happens, I think of it as separate if there's any prior history that contradicts it. In this case, an entire game. It's a bit like keeping score. If there aren't enough points to prove that an anomaly is a legit part of a character's personality, I chalk it up to a mistake in the writing and more or less ignore it.

They've actually been running P3/P5 stuff in PSO2 lately. The other day  I was running a Buster Quest with Aigis, Minato, Yukari and someone in a Mona Suit. (There's actually a Genesis Weapon Camouflage in the game called the Labrys and it IS a giant axe. More mystical looking but still massive. That was way before the Persona stuff.)

Good news having a job though. Get well soon.

That is awesome! Always happy to see more fanart of Labby, and she looks almost like an action figure here (in a good way!)! Your metal-materials look good as ever.

Thanks so much! Somehow this one looks more animated that drawings I usually do. It's strange, but certainly not an issue. I sometimes warp images onto a metal surface for reflective qualities.
