Decided to settleΒ this design finally. Design for Azita in my new project. Shadow Weavers didn't always hide their markings. To the contrary, exposure to the light adds potency the powers the markings provide, and pre-human colony shadow warriors wore clothing and armor designed to leave critical spots exposed to the light. The markings were often predominantly on one side of the body so the warriors could face their markings to the light.

And...I don't know, some kind of background.

This is a really great design too. She looks so strong and defiant ^^

Thank you! She really is the most casually defiant of all of my female OCs. The others are tough when it comes to facing off against enemies, but Azita is more unconcerned when it comes to threats in general.


The background is from the weird underground world I've been working on, but I still need practice to be able to draw it properly. It feels like I'm getting there though.

Ohhh, a weird underground world, that is pretty awesome! Creating environments is so much fun, though I tend to lean toward fashion when drawing, I love writing environments ^^

I think you are very much getting there. I hope you keep it up. I'd be great to see what you come up with.Β

It occurred to me that the underground thing might actually feel somewhat unique if done right. Thing is, I keep changing the plot in my head. XD It's not as important now since I'm working on Excidium all the time, but hopefully later I can nail it down.
