Description Although not well known in the the U.S., Lake Bled, Slovenia, is a beautiful tourist destination for Europeans. My wife took this pic of a passenger boat leaving the dock and headed for the little island with its famous church.

I wish the boat was taken while a little bit more off shore.

The light and waves are extraordinary but the light bulbs and branches kind of distract the eye.

Regards,

Suppi

Thank you for your comment, Vanja. We enjoyed Bled very much. We also visited other places nearby. One place was a chocolate factory called Gorenjka in Lesce.
Thanks for your visit to my gallery, thanks for faving this pic, and for the llama badge--very kind. What's the name of your town that is close to Bled?

Vanja, I found Trzic on the map. I see how close it is close Bled. We used to live near Pordenone in Italy and could drive to Bled in a few hours. In the area of Bled we also visited Radovljca and a park river area called Vintgar. On another trip we visited Ljubljana.

Yes, Vintgar is very nice too
You are not in Italy anymore?

No not any more. I had a good job in Italy from 2002 to 2007. I traveled a lot as part of my job and my wife and I traveled a lot for pleasure, too. I now live in a mountain forest in California. It’s very beautiful here, but I miss Italy.

I would love to return to Bled and Slovenia. Have you been to the U.S.?
I watched the YouTube video of the music you linked to before and I liked it. It sounded like a choir. Just now I clicked the link and it said that the video isn't available in my country.

Oh, I change the link every week or so
You mean Perpetuum Jazzile choir:

Yes, Perpetuum Jazzile. I didn't know they were a choir, they just sounded like one to me. Are they from Slovenia? Do you recognize the city where the video was shot? Is it Ljubljana?
