Story: We had been awaiting this horse for awhile. The dainty, pretty mare stepped out off the trailer with a pink halter and lead rope and stood there as if she was posing for a modeling job. She was off the track and, thankfully, had not been in bad condition. A young mare that didn't run very well, unfortunately, however, there was one thing she was good at, and that was being obedient. The mare would respond well to every cue and command with her ears forward, back relaxed, and stretched at the poll, keeping on the bit whenever she was asked. She was naturally better than any racehorse we've ever encountered, and we knew she had some natural talent other than racing. Of course, we figured out as soon as we saw her that she would be a great dressage horse.
