u know, i look at your photos and i can relate to u and your country and the situation and then i read the comments and it makes me so angry that most of western(what i mean actualy is american) youth respond to this as they would on a coca-cola comercial or a comis-book plot and on the other hand they will have an opinion and attitude on everything(the same is usualy shallow).when history brings war or any kind of REAL danger on their own soil they will be less arrogant and feel less god-given and their noses will not go through the clouds so much.this comment is not particulary 4 this pic.i was going through your galery(and some other galeries and/or political art) and this is where i snapped.and i have no intention in starting a debate,this is a stand-alone comment.

I haven't been on dA in a long time, but came back looking for inspiration.. I've had a block for a long time, and have lately come to realize that my pictures generally suck, but whatever. Anyways, I looked at this picture and it made me cry. It was probably this whole last week built up and this piece of depression was the straw that broke the camel, but if I ever took a picture that made someone cry, I'd want them to let me know. So congratulations. :]

wonderful. not only a great capture but the very essence of its meaning shines though. a very evocative shot as well with a deep almost tragic meaning depending on how the viewer is feeling. lovely concept perfectly done. a favourite and i really dont do that often. has to be one of those very special moments and this is one. excellent work. ben.

I think this is simply fantastic. I like the way you've made the person's emotions come through with the photo. I sense they feel small and worthless. And I can see that with the distance of the person.

This is an amazing image--at first I thought it must have been set up, staged, but then I read your comments. So sad but stunning that you made this image with such effective composition and mood. How were you able to get pictures like this inside the hospital? Don't they protect the privacy of the patients by not allowing photographs? In any case, your work is excellent. The treatment of it is perfect, the mood is well portrayed.

My heart goes out to you--is he undergoing treatment there? What a difficult thing for a parent to experience. I have three kids, so I know how easy it is to have your heart wrench for them---even simple things are difficult sometimes.
