Description
In secrets it lays
Shaving his clothes with the sharp rays of the sun
Coldness surrounds him but his thoughts are warm
Not aware of what he really is, but aware of what he's not
The prodigy waits, in secrets it lays

Taken inside "Hamam El-Basha bathhouse", Akko, israel. In early morning hour while the sunlight was breaking through the roof into the steam. I was lucky to be there at this timing.

****

Hamam al Basha (the Turkish bath)

A public bathhouse that was built by El-Jazar in the year 1795 in the format of the Oriental bathhouses that were common in the Turkish Empire during the 18th and 19th centuries.

The bathhouse has an entry room that serves as a dressing room, with a marble fountain in the center. A corridor leads from the entry room to a series of hot rooms, the last of which is a hexagonal steam room, with a domed roof supported by four marble columns, with four rooms for individual use, one at each corner.
The bathhouse building is an elegant one and is adorned with marble floors and imported ceramic tiles.

I though it was a totally different thing °=° : someone beeing thrown out from a spacial engine or wating for some kind of contact with sideral creatures from outerspace!!!!
Nevertheless this beautyfull picture reveals an atmosphere of grace quiteness and serenity ... BRAVO!!!

This is a very well composed shot I think. It captures the light beautifully with different shatterings of color and the misty appearance of them. To be honest, this is the kind of shot I've dreamed about taking myself

Really well done.

Instant favourite.
I'm involved in writing a fan-made supplement for the tabletop role-playing game Vampire: the Requiem, which is going to detail the politics and night-to-night dealings of the vampires residing in Rome. The final product will be released as a free .pdf for download.
I've been scouring deviantArt for pictures that would make good illustrations, and I found this one.
What I'm asking is: Would you let us use a grayscale version of this picture as an illustration for one of the characters?
Due to the supplement being set in Rome, it would be preferable if you would also let me crop the picture, so that the roof doesn't show (basically removing the top half).
You will, of course be given proper credit.

Nice pic man, it reminds me something that I can't remind exactly what it is, but I belive it's some picture of buddha, lying down in some forest. And the light just came through the leaves. Damn this pic is so relaxing ! This bathhouse seems to be a very interesting piece of architecture !

I love the atmosphere that is inside this piece, the steam, the morning light, everything is calm.

* Dreaming about some relaxing time *
