Description Modern mythology as we create it
The City, a little boy, a leaving plane, a passing dove
Colors of a sleepy world
The ending of a small scene
The beginning of another

A memory being installed into a young mind
Life as we know it and no one else can
The mix of elements that exist for this time
Tomorrow something will be missing,
Something new will replace it

Mythology is no more than society ambition
To escape the clichΓ© and be remembered.
The City, a little boy, a leaving plane, a passing dove
Colors of a sleepy world
Ready to dream another dream

*****

This piece --> Henry's world was taken at the same place, at the Tel Aviv's harbor.
I love using this place for silhouettes, and it's all about the decisive moment and the composition. It worked out well here. The nearby "Sde Dov" airport also brought this plain to landing height, which made a great impact as well.

Gilad,

How interesting!

I thought at first the lamp poles were deliberately distorted. No, they're built that way purposefully.

Wonderful.

Colors of a sleepy world

I really liked this part in the poem. And the poem overall as well, the rhytm's charming.

About the photo, well, when I first looked at this in December I didn't think much of it. Now I like it, not so much as some of your pieces but like anyway. Especially the dove. I find it amusing that the photo is kind of divided to three parts: the boy, the plane and the dove. They all have their own places in this puzzle and yet, they share something similar. The plane flies on its metallic wings, the dove on its wings and the boys dreams can take flight as well.

Oh and I also find it great that the figures ain't just silhouetted but there's some details to be seen as well, gives some more depth into the shot. Good job, G.

The pigeon(?) on the ground is my favourite part. It's like the bird is reflecting the boy's movements. I'll have to say, you have some excellent timing to catch such beautiful shots.

wow, I'm amazed at how you were able to keep the action in everything.. the boy in mid stride, the dove with a foot up, the lines of the wood... even the lamp posts. It would take me forever to get them all working right at the same time, and then I'd miss the button...
