Description
Let the world run out of time, all around us
We have each other, and all the time in the world

****

Grand central station, NY.
5 Seconds exposure made everyone moving blur out, except that couple checking this place out. This is dedicated to them. Without knowing it, they just made my day by not moving.

five seconds is such a long time in this day and age... i myself am guilty of walking fast and not paying attention to things, but this is heart warming

my friend told me the other day, that she read in a book, that you can tell what someone thinks about you by looking in their eyes in the first five seconds that they see you in a day... and i realized recently how hard it is to look at someone for five seconds without it seeming weird...

Everybody is is such a rush.
Only Romeo and Juliet take life slowly.
They don't care what the others think.
They only want to be together.

Romeo hates the world of corruption that surrounds him.
Juliet just wants to find happiness.
They met in a mall in the afternoon.
They fell in love instantly.

when I saw this I immediately wondered how long the shutter was open for because some people made quite long trails. Well done for that couple for standing still for a whole 5 seconds! I thought they might be friends of yours placed for the shot but I'm glad you were in the right place at the right time for this.

Yes, the couple in the middle looking towards the direction of the flag really gave the picture a powerful meaning to many. Them not knowing it(posing for the picture purposely) makes it even more special.

I do not get tired of seeing your photos, you are a guide to continuing.

I am charmed with the photo and stimulate me at least to try to make something minimally similar.

A greeting!!!

This reminds me so much of a scene in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind where Joel (Jim Carrey) and Clementine (Kate Winslet) are in a trains station...Oh, god. And the women is wearing a tuque like Clementine! Really beautiful picture. It also looks a lot like the station in Toronto...

Funny, I saw a really similar picture today at a local photography exhibition at a trains station... first thought was they ripped yours, I wanted to make a picture of it to compare them, but I got sent away by a guard

I took a picture with my mobile phone of it, and I cant really compare them too well, except that the flag is cut off on the exhibition one...

Oh well, cool picture anyway

Grand Central is my favourate place in New York and you're photograph captures exactly how I feel when I'm there. The whole of the city, millions of people, passing by and yet you seem to be seprate from it all. Great job man.
