Description Another entry for a ~teentitans 's contest. I have to say, i did a little... experimenting with color in this one, for better or worse. I tried to use more neutral colors than usual, and also threw together some colors that one might not normally think of, the biggest example probably being robin.
A basic rundown of my thoughts on each character: i gave Raven a renaissance remake, made Beastboy look a little more "wild" (plus a hoverboard for coolness points), gave Robin a kevlar vest and reduced his cape (since realistically, it would just get in the way of martial arts), gave Starfire a Tamaranian royal battle gown, and gave Cyborg some COLOR, along with a more armor-like look and an electrostatic cannon instead of a sonic one. Just because it looks cooler.
Anyway, i'd love to hear opinions on what colors do and don't work, and comments in general.

Ah, thanks man! I... should really find some time to try, this was more than a decade ago and all. XD I'm also most of a decade out of practice though, haha!

you have a real talent if you make an animation I'm sure that it might be picked up by DC Comics or Warner Animation as a pilot for TV or DVD project.

One thing that's cool about the Teen Titans, and this really accentuates it, is the variation in costumes. They're all different material and differently colored, so there's no uniform, and they don't follow a sort of dark theme, like Young Justice does now. The kids are all so varied and different yet still not only team, but friends as well.

Haha, I appreciate that you see some variety in my take on them. I'm not entirely sure that I would agree on their original outfits being that unique in material (at the end of the day, 3 are wearing tights/leotard with or without cape...), although I see where you're coming from with color. Personally, I like how YJ has a little more believable take on costumes (I mean, stealth mode is so... practical!), but outside of that stealthy form, I don't see that their costumes are particularly plain. I mean, in terms of material... yeah, you're basically looking at a lot of tights with a couple of normalish clothes. But in terms of color, you've got all your primaries covered in various combinations with a fair amount of green and black, too. Granted they use a lot of red, but it's my fave so I won't complain. Good insight though, here's hoping they do branch out a bit more with costumes in Season 2.

I love the Robin and Starfire Looks. And Cyborg does look cool, but the blue makes me think Megaman too much. Sorry, but Raven and Beastboy are captured pretty realistically for their behaviors.

I love the renessance (spelling sucks I know) raven the most but they are all awesome. I do have to admit that some of the colors are ones I wouldn't have put together but they work really well! Overall: Amazing job!!!

i would of turned raven into a goth lol.
skater boy beast boy is sweet.
maybe a bot more armor looking for robin. i like the shorter cape (i agree)
and last but not least cyborg is sweet but maybe a bit more machine looking
