Description

I'm burning through the sky yea. Two hundred degrees that's why they call me Mr. Fahrenheit. I'm travelling at the speed of light. I wanna make a supersonic man out of youuu.. ♫

Went to see the Red Arrows in Dartmouth (Devon) today
I go to see them here every year with my grandparents cause they're amaazing! They're an air-acrobatics team that fly in jet-fighters (don't know what the actual planes are) in really close formation and they do loads of tricks.

I got a good shot of them doing a loop-de-loop here

I was using my dad's Nikon D80, I'd like to get either a D3000 or a D5000 for christmas, if you have any advice on buying a starter DSLR then please leave a comment!

I'm only a beginner at photography so all your comments and critiques will be greatly appreciated.

Great photo! I saw them on the show i think 2 or 3 years ago. It was in Ostrava (Czech republic) at NATO day. They were incredible! Also i saw them one day before the show ´cause the airport is about 10 kilometers from my village so i saw them when they arrived. We were in the old barn with my friend and we heard a big noise so we went out and they were above our heads
btw: I like your drawing very much!

Great shot buddy. We're in the same boat near enough too. I'm 15 as well and was interested in the D3000 also.

I got one for my 15th birthday actually. It's a great camera and I can highly recommend it. The lens that comes with it is great (the 18mm-55mm one) and I also bought a tele-photo one (cheap 70-300mm tamron one) for it.

I'll look forward to seeing if you buy one too. I'll watch you in fact.

I wouldn't rush out and buy a D3000 just yet though. The D3100 has just been announced which is kind of somewhere between the D3000 and 5000 in terms of its specs. Have a look at that too.

Laters.

It is a great picture. I think that the title suits perfectly to the image. The angle is great. It reminds me of freedom, a freedom picture.♥

Love the way you composed this so the eye follows the clouds and goes loop-de-loop
Did you use a filter for this? The left side is a little darker, and is kinda distracting
But good shot Planes normally go too fast for me to hope to get a clear shot of them.

=] thanks! it was so hard to get a decent shot because they were zooming by so fast! >.< I must've taken hundreds of photos

Uhrm, I'm not sure - it was my dad's camera so i don't know if there was a filter on it. Do you think i should photoshop the left side to lighten it?

I reckon the hardest part is having to go through all your shots
Umm, I'm not sure. I suppose you could try and see how it goes
