This evening we took a trip down to Sunset Beach, Florida and watched the sun set over the gulf of Mexico. It was beautiful ^_^Please give your thoughts and critiques, I don't really consider myself that much of a photographer but it's something that I'd love to get into along with drawing =]

must have been an amazing site actually being there and watching the sun as it gradually sets, and nice pic taken at a perfect time looks amazing :~)

And yeh we just heard about that, apparently transatlantic flights from us to uk have all been either cancelled or delayed today, we're just trying to find out now whether our flight will be okay on saturday :S

And, well all the roads are just in straight lines *if there's any american reading this conversayion then please feel free to correct me if i'm wrong*, they go in avenues and boulevards i think. So they end up going in a criss cross pattern because one set of roads go horizontal and the others go vertical, always north-south and east-west. Blocks are just the plots of land/buildings in between each road.

It's sooo amazing! Staying here for a couple of weeks has persuaded my parents to think about moving out here for a couple of years, it's just such a nice place! I'm still amazed at the simplest things, like how straight the roads are, how there are so many billboards, how the sides of the streets are so lit up at night, how warm it is, how happy and friendly everyone is! Course I miss England, but you guys in the US are lucky lucky people

Are the roads really curvy over there? here they are pretty straight, but I live in a far less populated area, so they arn't like city streets, they round and whatnot XD

Haha, yeah! I don't think there's any straight roads for more than a couple hundred metres at most
And the plugs! They give off little sparks when you plug stuff in! Well most of the ones i've used anyway
