Last month I announced "TheBoog's Jewelry Designing Contest". I had many fantastic entries, but this one stood out above all the others:

"The Butterfly Key" by ~shiory impressed me greatly, and won my contest

The pendant was a little bit of a challenge to design, but it was still very fun, and I enjoyed watching everything come together step-by-step.

As Shiory's design requested, the butterfly and the wire are made of sterling silver. She asked that the rod of the key be made of gold, however, due to price factors, I had to use copper instead Last, connecting the key base and the butterfly top is a beautiful garnet gemstone set in a barrel setting. On the back of this pendant is the required 'sterling' stamp, as well as my logo: the double diamond G.

Once again, I would like to congratulate ~shiory on her absolutely stunning design! As a jewelry designer who's been doing this for over 5 years now, I couldn't have done it better myself.
