Although I have never played "Detroit", I have seen the characters. This version of Connor I like, with a natural style, an expreison that gives the character, a style of soft and intense coloring, a black and tiled background that, although it seems to merge with Connor's tiled suit and its appearance, highlights it . That is something very positive.

Also the technique used once again is impeccable and has a great intensity to show what the design of this character represents, from its shading to the contrasts presented.

It looks like a drawing done to the quick by the delineated, but in reality it is not. It benefits that delineated.

I love the shading! It has a hint of realism. I think the brush is a little sloppy. You can still achieve the sort of effect you were going for though, just a different approach. Maybe another brush? The background really gives the feeling of "darkness" if you know what I mean. Coloring it so that the subject in question, or the man you painted, stands out more from the background instead of blending in would really help highlight you shading and anatomy skills in this piece. This piece is very original with a different take on drawing this character. His sleek looks really give off the feeling of being robotic. Overall, fantastic work!

Overall, you did a fine job, especially after considering the fact that you are new to digital painting. I can also see some result from the skill share classes you took part.

For the most part, you faithfully depicted his likeness and perhaps his character/personality via his facial expression. I can see him wearing that expression

Composition-wise, it can be improved a bit because there is quite a bit of "empty" space on top and on his left side. Although you added a blue glow of sorts in the back, it would be nice if you added a few more things to make the background a bit more interesting (without causing too much distraction). Also, you can also crop out a small part of the pic's top and left sides. The end result will be the character's face occupying more of the pic's space.

Value-wise, I think you can push it a bit more. It would be nice if I see a bit more highlights on his right side (as depicted in the reference pic). That way, his right side of the face, hair, and jacket will look less flat in appearance.

The texture on his left side where the strong highlights meet the shadow is a nice touch, and arguably one of the more interesting looking aspects of this pic. I would like to see more texture on his right side of the face and the suit and tie so they will look more interesting.

I haven't really played that game yet, but maybe someday I will.  I don't know exactly what the character is supposed to look like, exactly, but as far as the quality of your are goes, that's pretty good.
