these raindrops were no bigger than 2mm, which is rrly small.it took so long to get a sharp focused picture of this and the effort of crouching down that low was paiiiinful.

What first grabbed me with this shot, was the shape of a star I imagine myself to see; and once again - through that - find myself absolutely amazed by the forms in which nature gives us her very best. In each moment, and gesture.
To be fortunate - as you have been - to observe the smallest of details [2 mm IS small!] and bring them forth to us others that are a tiny bit more blind in this very moment; well, that fortune rest upon the world's shoulder as a gift.
Thank you so much for sharing this crying star, and remind us of the smallest wonders on a much larger planet that we have yet to understand. For if we cannot stop to see the small steps to perfection, how can we even begin to phantom the leaps?
