the yellowish tint is due to the room i took the picture of the painting in. i dont have a studio or great lighting so most my photographed paintings turn out this way. also, the actual painting has much more definition in everything. the reason the mountains have different shadows is because one extends out into the distance beyond the other, if you look, closer on the left mountain the shadows match. im glad you like the "vintage look" on the left but that was an accident due to the glare reflecting off the glaze of the painting.
