I didn't come there for Kiuas, only arrived in time of Turisas. Maybe I should have caught them too, it would've been interesting to see who the new guy is.

I think he also sings for The Nibiruan... he's got the voice for it (from the videos I've seen) but I still think he can't compare to Ilja. Ilja wasn't just vocals, he was stage presence and chemistry and everything. As far as replacements go though, that guy seems about as good as they could get.

Hmm, funny, Sonic Syndicate vocalist left the band cos they're not metal enough, and Ilja left cos he's not interested anymore. They should swap

Yea, but whatever Ilja ends up doing, it won't be metal, and I probably won't like it more than Kiuas because of that. It's a shame when one of the best metal gods decides he's not metal. My heart breaks, haha.

I was told that it has been building up for 2 years, but after some stuff that went down at Tuska (from what I heard, he was really drunk and sort of messed up the gig) it became official.
