But seriously Sonic's game are pretty diverse and none of them play the exact same. That's what I love about the series. The variety. I commend the series for trying something new unlike....others IPs.

It's shocking to say (as a Sonic fan) that Super Mario Odyssey is better than Sonic Forces, no bullshitting, that's just how I FEEL.

This hatred for Shadows game is total crap anyway given that the game is in anyway a better Sonic Heroes and the flaws most people name are ether not objective (OMG why does he use a gun) or not nearly as bad as people make it out to be (the Choose your own story system sucks) and in some cases are bordering the territory of lies (The level design is the worse (right after Praising Heroes bottomless put fest and Colors 2D Block Β worlds the Music is forgettable).

It's even funnier when you KNOW this are the same people who spent 5 years telling people to respect their opinion for hating the Adventure games and defending Lost World, and Boom. They themselves are now saying Colors and Generations aren't that good to praise Mania so those games don't count now. Β

This is the Sonic fanbase, this fanbase will always suck but the people who make it suck will never be called out for it, only the people who are "mean" and not "grateful for everything Sega gives them".
Anyway I've seen people doing this in several comments though I can't remember what video this was. If I track it down again I'll show you so you'll see for real.

Sure the game has its faults but it's really not that bad.

Because this fanbase has a funny way of convincing people that the vocal minority are the majority, most people actually liked this game. On Amazon, the gamecube port had 57% out of 240 people give it 5 star ratings, 45% of 78 people for the PS2 port, and the Xbox port had only had 31% out of 39.
Point is on average the games people would have you believe are the most hated are only most hated by them, but they do not represent the majority in anyway. The only people at 10% are those giving this game 2 or 1 star ratings.
