I received a drawing pencil kit from my little brother for Christmas, and there's a few charcoal pencils of differing softnesses included in it. I also got a couple of erasers that are supposed to be especially good at erasing charcoal (I am so greatful for those!)

A couple days after Christmas I decided to try to get a little practice with the charcoal pencils, and the only thing I could think of that I wanted to draw was Katie, in both ghost and human form.

That dress she's wearing in the lower half of the pic is actually inspired by a prom dress I have up in my room right now. The fishnets I just added for the hell of it. As for that star barette.... well, I've got a cute little hair elastic that has a star like that attached (Nats, Nanag, if you two haven't noticed I've been wearing since we got back from vacation). The necklace... is just there.
Truth be told, Katie wouldn't wear a dress even if you paid her to... except on special occasions.

Alright, her hair in ghost form is the wrong color in this pic, but I didn't want it to be a spiky blob of white with an outline. So... I guess it's just shading? Ehehe. I love her ghostly tail though...!
