Project for my art portfolio. D:

Basically I'm personifying all the negative... things I'm quite acquainted with. Despair is that thing that stops me from working hard and puts me down when I hit setbacks. D: I'm quite rubbish at handling setbacks. There's a recovery period needed, which is always a waste of time. OTL I also hold on to the idea that "if I despair over something first, it won't hurt if I fail." D: This is a coward's way of doing things.

Remaining pieces are Envy, Grudge and Apathy.

This was an interesting piece of artwork, not because of what I drew, but because of what HAPPENED when I was drawing it.

Long story cut short - Despair decided to let me have a true taste of "despair", and so she played a joke on me. Details are here so go have a read if you're interested... orz
