"SLITHERS" was not bad in that category...

and there is "TERROR VISION" that is more hilarious than horrible but quite good

I always feel like monsters today are too sleek and shiny. Its cool, but there is no beating a good ol' grotesque, pulsating and slimy monstrosity.
