I know what you mean. I had someone commission a white Brotherhood Ezio outfit. And then they decided they didn't have the money for it and disappeared D: Thankfully I had only gathered the materials and made the patterns when the cazzo decided, so it's not too bad. The patterned [faux]leather was expensive though. And had to be airbrushed white.
By the way, I showed my friend , who is my cohort and prop-maker extraordinaire, your costume, and the pics from that convention. She loved them! She also wonders why all the awesome cosplayers are in Germany? I gave her a bit of a wall-eye there, as she is of first-generation German descent... I personally loved all the Tim/Kon/Bart stuff as well!

I'm not so sure, but I don't think that there are many good cosplayers in Germany. If I watch videos of the Comic Con or other great conventions, I am stunned, because most of the people look good D:

Luckily, he flaked off before I started cutting into the expensive stuff, so really, it's just a pile of material waiting for a home. It's difficult to sell a custom-made costume, if it's customized to someone with a unique frame.
I don't know. All the cosplayers I've seen pictures of from there seem to have a wonderful eye for detail. Maybe I'm just biased, because I'm only seeing people who someone thought were good enough to photograph.

Usually I ignore fan art and such with the homo erotic tones. But they were so obviously gay for each other that I have no issues at all with this peice.
