I adopted Dalla from gemfriends earlier this week and I love her. She is strong. She is big. She is wonderful. I've written a little about her and Apricot (who I''m kinda just immediately pairing her with becauseholyshitlookatthem,) below!

I think Apricot met Dallasite during her time as the only gem working on a flora observation station set far apart from the rest of the empire. Dalla had been part of a small group of Crystal Gems who were working to ambush more influential gems who were travelling through quieter reaches of space, but was caught by a fleet of soldiers. During the destruction of her ship, she was damaged pretty badly, and retreated to her gem to repair herself. Sailing through space, unnoticed by the homeworld soldiers, she drifted thousands of miles into Apricots research station, where she was spotted and taken in.
I could go on and on about how I think they get to know each other, but for now, lets just say that they’re pretty taken with each other. Maybe Dalla will be Apricot’s reason for leaving homeworld?
I’m gonna be designing their fusion later!
