After a disastrous scouting mission many years ago, where many of his research team were shattered, Doc was sent back to Mo’Sai permanently.

Unexpected loud noises and intense experiments ended up being too much for him, so he spends most of his time tutoring new serpentine gems on how to use equipment and general scientific theory. He tries his best to be strict but he’s a massive push-over; every lecturing session usually ends up being about two hours of quantum physics and astronomy, and then giving up and telling them stories of his more exciting adventures out in the field. He's really fond of them, and tries to stay in touch with all the gems he lectures if they go off planet. A good guy. A Dad. A Gad Duy.
