Description The Enterprise A at warp. The mesh was downloaded from STMC. [link]
The warped foreground stars are part of the mesh.
The starfield background was downloaded from www.spacetelescope.org. [link] and is a real Hubble image.
I added a motion blur to the starfield.

**I just learned that Glenn Shatowski also rendered this same view of the Enterprise A. [link] In many ways his render is better than mine. Kudos to Glenn.
If I have to take it down, I hope everyone will understands.

Sorry for the dual posts. But look at the far right and far left edges of the saucer to see what I mean.

Yes, it is low polygon count. The curves are never as smooth.

The saucer section, when viewed full-size, is composed of straight sections, not curved sections. It's seen when viewed full-size or as a desktop wallpaper. Same for the other Enterprise A picture. But other than that, I love the two pictures.

The saucer section in both of these Enterprise A images aren't curved, but successive straight lines (when viewed full size).

Thanks, but everything but the background was included in the mesh. All I did was to render it.
