woo those themes you gave me some stuff to work with, i think they might've been inspired by cresselia and darkrai subconsciously haha
for your nightmare-based gem i went with black-star diopside! i think it fits haha
then on druzy, the white at the bottom of her dress is supposed to be like clouds, but i think i made them more like waves rip

so as far their backstory, had some time to think about that while i was drawin;
they were created by homeworld in a specialized kindergarden to manipulate other lifeforms in their dreams (i was thinking humans really, but really any lifeform that can sleep and dream), so druzy can change bad dreams into good ones, and diopside can change good dreams into bad dreams--you could probably consider them partners (they'd probably be pretty close to siblings too). so they travel around colonies with uppity original inhabitants (so they're not court-bound) to either relieve their nightmares to make them more likely to cooperate with a gem colony (in druzy's case), or to cause them nightmares to intimidate them into cooperating with the colony (in diopside's case). i think this lets you lean them into being on earth or any other planet haha

then their weapons;
druzy has a staff that generated a purple-colored magic, might be what she channels her power through
diopside just has a lance. because i like them and i wanted a weapon i could put a lil star on the end of haha
