Character commission for who asked me to draw Sally, Geoffrey and Knuckles on a blank background wielding Zillion guns . (Ayup!) Apparently this pic is to be used as part of a title screen for a game that Mightydillo is making. The gun is based on the Zillion anime from the 80's and released for the Sega Master System. I'm more of a NES Zapper guy myself, but I can't deny that Zillion guns make anyone a hot gunslinger.... despite the characters' whole no-gun policy. *cough*Related content

It's funny, Knuckles is the only one here I couldn't picture using a gun. Sally knows how to handle a firearm as we've seen in the comics at least on one occasion, and she's more than willing to use blades, and unless I'm wrong, Geoffrey has used a crossbow on more than one occasion, and a gun is basically a crossbow that goes faster, chemical reaction nonwithstanding.
Knuckles I think is the only one that would look out of place because I think he's just made to be a hand to hand fighter. Also, mitts have a bit less finger dexterity, I think.
Good linework as per usual, and good arcs on the characters. Would be cool to see some of the muzzle flash add some highlights, but just as well it's blocked by most of the gun anyhow.

Cool look. I never knew about those before. I wrote some stories where mobians used Dreamcast era light guns because those were the only ones I knew of. I had the official one and my brother had the InterAct Starfire gun. Mine had a cool rapid fire option but my brother's definitely looked cooler.

I'll admit I'm not familiar with "Zillion" guns, but these characters certainly seem like the best ones to be wielding them. Slightly different poses and differing expressions make each one unique.

I never had seen the anime. But I always have enjoy the relation between Sally and Knuckles (im not trying to ship them) I just think than their friendship is a very good point because they have things in commun.
