Bobcat was everyone's best friend, and all the member's on IRA's board miss her. I still have this morbid sensation that she died or something - it's unusual how no one's even been able to contact her since she disappeared. Just another case for the X-Files, methinks.

Yes, the thought too crossed my mind. it's sad, i really DO hope that she's still ticking someplace. if it wasn't for her, i'd have never gotten serious in my cartooning. i truly belive that she had a big impact on my life, it's just so sad that someone so wonderful and special could just dissappear so sudden.

There's a possibility that it was simply her choice. Some poeple have problems or issues that other don't understand and they simply run away. From what i heard from her a few days before she left, she was having a family problem of some sorts. Aw well, i don't expect her to come back...i just wanna know where she went.

Actually, she's still alive. She just abandoned the MM community and said she didn't want anything to do with it. She has a webpage now that's written entirely in Finnish (I think).

It upset me too. She was one of those people who was so friendly a sweet towards everyone. I wish I knew why she just up and left us all.

i'm guessing her reasons for leaving were too personal to speak of outloud. i still have all her artwork saved. One thing that's kinda neat is that my girlfriend knew her too. Well before she and i even knew eachother too! it wasn't until several years later that after i mentioned Bobcat's name, my girlfriend's ears perked up. Turns out that she and i both had artwork featured on Bobcat's website before we even knew eachother.

You do make a good point with Neon Tiger and Slash Beast - they are part of the feline family. Shoot, why didn't I realise that earlier? Well, thanks for pointing that out anyway.
